Program Ads for 2012 Baseball Season
Parents, We have placed the template for all ad sizes on the North Gwinnett Baseball Website (click on the link above to get the file). This template will provide you with the size information needed for your business or personal ad. The deadline for all ads to be put into the program is FEBRUARY 10th. Please make sure that companies and businesses send an electronic file with their ad to Lori Ford(hoosiermomma@bellsouth.net). If you are submitting a senior or personal ad and need assistance, you may contact Kim Jenkins (kimpjenkins2@gmail.com). We are looking forward to a great season and an awesome program. Baseball Meeting
There will be an mandatory organizational meeting this Thursday, Jan. 26 at 2:30 in the baseball field house for all players trying out for baseball. This will be a short but important meeting. Players involved in winter sports need to see Coach Vashaw Thursday or Friday .
Reminder of physicals. Players not having a physical will not be excused from practice. But they cannot practice if they do not have one.

Happy New Year!!!! Hope everyone had a great holiday. With
baseball just around the corner, there are a few items of interest I need to pass along..
1. Physicals- Currently we have close to 30 players who DO NOT have a physical on file. The list is posted in the field house of the players who have an updated physical. NO PHYSICAL/NO PRACTICE!! The Gwinnett County Consent, Insurance Form, and Preparticipation Physical Form is attached and also located in the forms and handouts section of our website. Click on the Baseball Info link above to go to the form.
2. Senior meeting- I will need to meet with the returning seniors on Thursday 1/12 at 2:30 for about 10-15 minutes.
3. Practice- The first day of practice will be Jan. 30...We will have our players chosen by Thursday, Feb. 2, we MAY NOT have rosters complete, as we may still evaluate for another few days.
4. Bulldog Cards- Our Card sale will begin with the Lacrosse team on Friday, February 3. It will run through Sat. Feb. 18. We will need to do a good job this year as a couple of our fund raisers in the fall fell a little short of our goals.
We are looking forward to a great year...Look forward to seeing you at the park!!!

Spirit Wear Order Forms
“ SPIRIT WEAR ORDER FORMS WILL BE ACCEPTED UNTIL FEBRUARY 3rd. This will be the last Spirit Wear order for the year. You may drop off your order form and payment with the coaches. Email me if you have placed an order so that I can verify receipt. Please direct any questions to ssnolan@bellsouth.net .”
There will be samples and order forms at the dugout meeting on Tuesday 1/10/2012

2011-2012
The Bulldogs had a great summer as we were able to divid our players into three teams and play about 60 games in five weeks. I feel that eventhough the overall record was not great for 2011, the team continued to progress towards being a perennial state contender. Our advance to the state playoffs was our sixth consecutive trip, and our advance to the second round was the the fourth year out of those six that we have advanced past the first round. We have been defeated (all in three games) by the eventual state champion for three consecutive seasons.
All of that being said, we are still not where we want to be, and we hope our off-season preparations will help us reach the yearly goal we set, which is to be state champions!
We have begun our off-season voluntary conditioning program. We have had good numbers and we hope that continues.
We are in the midst of our off-season fundraising as well. We hope to see another great turnout at our Golf Tournament on Oct. 10. We thank Travis Brank for organizing this event.
On Nov. 5 & 6, the 7th annual North Metro Diamond Extravaganza will be held at McDaniel Field. Hosted by Travis McClanahan of Gordon College, we should have 15-18 college coaches in attendance.
